Tara Kellogg, LMFT, is a licensed psychotherapist with over 25 years of clinical experience. Tara received her bachelor’s degree from Castleton University in 1994 and her Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 1998. She specializes in individual and family counseling and has dedicated her career to family preservation and trauma-related stressors disorders. Tara is a nationally certified therapist for Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), as well as a Qualified Florida State Supervisor.
Tara is passionate about helping individuals make positive changes through examining realistic life balances and implementing sustainable self-care strategies. Tara is warm and supportive in her approach, and believes in the power of solution-focused and positive thoughts on overall emotional well-being. While Tara’s approach to therapy is integrative and tailored to meet the individual needs of each client, she maintains a strong dedication to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. In addition to her professional passions, Tara is an avid reader, and currently collaborating on a book series to help professionals and families talk to children about traumatic events. Tara is also an animal lover, and foodie enthusiast.
